Brazil is at the top of the FIFA men’s ranking heading into the World Cup. They had secured their World Cup qualification in style finishing six points over Argentina, who came in second in the South American qualifier.

The  young forwards like Anthony, Vinicious Jr are expected to make their World Cup debut this year alongside the tried and tested veterans of the game like Neymar and Casemiro.

 

Cafu shared his view on the approaching World Cup in a promotional event for his new biography in Porto Alegre. The legendary left-back has expressed that the club is full of talented players and doesn’t heavily rely on one star to save them day in and day out. The former captain is positive about great results in the upcoming World Cup.

When asked if the left back position, famously held by the man himself for 16 years, can pose some threat to the team, he asked the people to keep their faith in 39-year-old Dani Alves and the Tite, Brazilian coach of 6 years.

The Brazilian squad was stunted by a less experienced Belgium in the Russia World Cup quarter finals where they suffered a 2-1 loss. The Brazilian coach Tite would be looking for a better result heading into the World Cup.

The Brazilian squad is drawn alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon. Their World Cup journey will start in 24th November against a tough opponent Serbia.
