Neymar addressed his Indian fans and congratulated the people of Kerala a few days after Brazil’s World Cup loss. “Affection arrives from all over the world! Thank you very much, Kerala, India,” he wrote on Instagram. Brazil advanced to the tournament’s quarterfinals thanks to Neymar. The last round encounter between five-time champions Brazil and Croatia went to penalties, with both teams drawing 1-1 after extra time. Croatia won on penalties 4-2.
Following Brazil’s elimination, Neymar’s enormous cutout in the Pullavoor river was removed. Following Portugal’s devastating defeat against Morocco, the big cutout of Cristiano Ronaldo was also removed, leaving only Lionel Messi alone in the middle of the Pullavoor river.
