The 25-year-old is the 26th player who will make the trip to Qatar, where France will be looking to retain their title. The formerly Guingamp man has made four senior squad appearances for France but has yet to score. Despite having played three games for Les Bleus in 2020 and one for the Euros in 2021, he was yet to be called up for 2022.
Following some subpar performance last season, the attacker has looked better in a central spot this season, scoring 10 goals in the Bundesliga, matching his best season on the other side of the Rhine.
