Rolling Stones to be on FC Barcelona’s jersey
As the renowned stars of Rolling Stones – Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood paraded the customized top, complete with the band’s cheeky symbol, it was less tongue in cheek and more tongue on kit.
This will be the home team’s jersey for El Clasico on October 28 at Barca’s temporary Estadi Olmpic Llus Companys stadium. The rock stars’ logo of large lips with a gigantic tongue jutting out will take center stage.
Xavi’s men are promoting the Stones’ most recent album in the most recent installment of the club’s deal with streaming service Spotify. In actuality, it’s the British band’s first brand-new music since 2005.
The band said, ‘We’re huge football fans and honoured that Spotify have brought our Tongue & Lips logo to grace the FC Barcelona shirt to celebrate the release of the Stones’ new ‘Hackney Diamonds’ album. We’ll be cheering on the players on the pitch as well as fans around the world who will be tuning in to watch this iconic match.’
Fans will be fixated on their televisions as third-placed, FC Barcelona tries to catch LaLiga leaders Real. Additionally, Barca supporters will hope goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has sticky fingers so he can stop prolific summer signing Jude Bellingham from Madrid as well as Vinicius Junior and company.
But regardless of what occurs, El Clasico watchers will aim to be as giddy with anticipation as Barcelona’s unique logo.
Rosalia and Drake featured on Barcelona’s jersey last season
In their first game in the League against Real Madrid last season, they wore a jersey with the logo of international singer, Drake. For the second Clasico of the season, they will be using the logo of popular Catalan singer Rosalia.
Rosalia’s jersey was a limited edition jersey that was worn for one El Clasico game against Real Madrid. The logo from her last studio album Motomami featured on FC Barcelona’s shirt.

This was the second time this season that FC Barcelona has decided to alter the logo on their jerseys for an El Clasico. In the first El Clasico of the last season, Spotify gave up its logo and displayed Drake’s Owl logo on the kit instead.
The emblem displayed celebrated the fact that the Canadian rapper was the first artist to reach 50 BILLION streams of his songs on their platform.
