“Historical Treble” – Fans react as Manchester City wins their Champions League title, completes Treble

Fans reacted on Man City's Champions League win as they beat Inter Milan 1-0 in final, thanks to Rodri's winner in 68th minute. Man City also completes historic treble.

Champions League Final: “Tonight, the Manchester rain will taste like champagne!” The words of Noel Gallagher narrated the whole story of Man City’s European glory in Istanbul.

Pep Guardiola’s men scripted a historical achievement after winning their maiden Champions League title. With the UCL title, they also completed their treble this season. Rodri’s 68th-minute strike assured a famous European glory for the Premier League side.

Both teams failed to score in the first half and Man City also faced an injury blow to their star player, Kevin de Bruyne. In the 68th minute, Rodri latches on to a Bernardo Silva pull-back from the byline and sends a textbook shot fizzing into the bottom corner. This strike wrote Man City’s name on the Champions League trophy.
