The UEFA Euro 2024 Round of 16 will kick off on Saturday, 29 June, and conclude on Tuesday, 2 July. Following an exciting group stage, the competition has narrowed from 24 teams to 16, with the top two teams from each of the six groups advancing, along with the four best third-place teams.

Switzerland, aiming for back-to-back Euro quarter-final appearances, will open the round of 16 against defending champions Italy at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Later on Saturday, hosts Germany will continue their campaign in Dortmund against unbeaten Denmark.
Group C winners England return to Gelsenkirchen to face Slovakia, who advanced from a tightly contested Group E where all four teams finished with four points. Spain, the only team to earn maximum points without conceding a goal in the group stage, will take on surprise debutants Georgia in Cologne.
The standout match features 2022 World Cup finalists France against neighbours Belgium in Düsseldorf. Portugal, despite a shock defeat to Georgia, won Group F and will face Slovenia in Frankfurt, who are making their knockout stage debut.
Munich will host Romania, who impressed by winning their group, against the Netherlands, who finished third in the highly competitive Group D. Austria, the winners of Group D, will conclude the round of 16 with a match against Group F runners-up Turkey in Leipzig.
