The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship is just about a couple of weeks away with the tournamnet scheduled to kick off on June 15th in Germany. Players from 24 nations all over Europe compete in the tournament for the Most players would give anything just to play at one European Championship – but some of the elite players have all played at multiple editions of the tournaments, and played a lot. Players with most appearances in UEFA Euro
Cristiano Ronaldo leads the UEFA EURO appearances with 25 games for Portugal. Pepe and João Moutinho follow with 19 each, showcasing Portugal’s strong representation. Italy’s Leonardo Bonucci and Germany’s Bastian Schweinsteiger each have 18 appearances. Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini, both from Italy, have played 17 games.
Rui Patríciol, Edwin van der Sar, Jordi Alba, Lilian Thuram, and Spanish midfielders Andrés Iniesta and Cesc Fàbregas each boast 16 appearances.

Players with most minutes played in UEFA Euro
Cristiano Ronaldo again tops the UEFA EURO minutes played list with an impressive 2,155 minutes for Portugal. Pepe follows with 1,830 minutes. Italy’s Leonardo Bonucci ranks third with 1,668 minutes, while his compatriot Gianluigi Buffon has 1,620 minutes.
Rui Patrício has logged 1,560 minutes. Edwin van der Sar has 1,534 minutes, and Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini has played 1,481 minutes. Spain’s Jordi Alba has 1,474 minutes, while French defender Lilian Thuram has 1,423 minutes.
