Insidesport

Ukraine will host England in the reverse fixture after the 2-0 loss at Wembley this year. Sergiy Rebrov’s side made a poor start but managed two wins against North Macedonia and Malta. Victory against Macedonia was special as they snatched three points after conceding a 2-0 lead.

The Blue and Yellow are currently in the top two but the road to Germany will not be easy as they have to face the task from Italy. They can’t afford to lose points in this international break. They have lost just one game out of the last 13 Euro qualifying games and it came against England. They would eye 4th successive entry to the main competition.

Insidesport

On the other hand, England are pumped after a solid start to the Euro campaign. The runner-ups of the last edition haven’t lost a game yet and with 12 points, they have secured the top spot in Group C. They have beaten all opponents in the group and are coming off a huge 7-0 win over North Macedonia.

The Three Lions have scored 15 goals so far, the highest by any team in Euro 2024 qualifiers. They have extended their winning streak to seven matches. Soutgate’s side have previously defeated Ukraine and their record against the hosts is great. Before defeating them in March this year, they beat them in the Euro 2020 quarterfinals following a victory in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
