After a prolonged wait, France captain Kylian Mbappe is all set to join Spanish Giants Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. Los Blancos, who won their record 15th UEFA Champions League on Saturday, had long wanted to sign the ‘Golden Boy of football’.
According to Italian football writer and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid plan to unveil Mbappe as their newest Galactico next week after winning the Champions League. Mbappe made his decision in February, and he can now be considered a new Real player.

Kylian Mbappe took to social media to announce his departure
After joining PSG from AS Monaco six years ago, Mbappe became the club’s all-time leading scorer, with 255 goals in 305 games. The forward earlier took social media to announce his departure from the Ligue 1 club, but his next destination was the world’s best-kept open secret. His final game for the club was at Lille’s Stade Pierre-Mauroy when Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz scored first-half goals to secure a victory for PSG.
