Interestingly, the Belgium forward has a contract with Real Madrid till 2024. But with declining conditions with the manager and the team, both parties have decided to cut off ties and let the player leave in this summer window.
Few sources have also cited that Hazard might draw an end to his career after this stint with Real Madrid. Hazard made a sensational swoop to Los Meringues back in the summer of 2019.
He became the club’s highest priced player after paying Chelsea a mouth watering sum of £88.3million excluding other added bonuses that brings the total price of the transfer to £142 million.
But it wasn’t the transfer that every Madrid fan wanted. Hazard was plagued with multiple injuries that cut short his time on the field. Hazard announced his retirement from International football after Belgium’s exit from the group stage in the FIFA 2022 World Cup.

Hazard spent the majority of this season on the sidelines with his injury and his issues with manager Carlo Ancelotti. Hazard made 6 La Liga appearances and 10 in overall tournaments. He has managed to score 1 goal and provide 2 assists this season.
It has been a rather poor stint for the Belgian in Real Madrid colours. Out of his 76 caps, he managed to score just 7 goals and provide just 12 assists overall.
