ATKMB applied constant pressure as they earn a flurry of corners, and after a few unsuccessful efforts, they finally succeed with one as Dimitri Petratos quickly takes the corner and crosses it in towards the near post. Slavko Damjanovic tried to head in Manvir Singh’s audacious backheel, but fails, as the ball strikes the post. Damjanovic graciously receives the ball back at his feet and tucks it in from a few inches away.
Dimitri Petratos extended the lead for ATK Mohun Bagan in the final minute. When Kiyan Nassiri cast a quick glance Kamaljit’s way, he was the one who officially began the procession. The ball was eventually chipped in by Dimitri Petratos after the East Bengal goalkeeper stood firm. Despite trying his luck, Kamaljit Singh was unable to touch the ball.
