Diego Maradona tribute – Indian Cricketers say Greatest is Dead : It is a very sad day for sports fans around the world. Football legend Diego Maradona passed away just two weeks after having surgery on a blot clot in his brain.
He captained the 1986 World-Cup winning Argentinan team that beat Germany 3-2 in the finals. Diego also won the Golden Ball for being the tournament’s outstanding player. He was only 15-year-old when he made his professional debut on October 20, 1976, for Argentinos Juniors.
While his death has left not just football fans but sports fans all around the world, his impact was not limited to just one sport. Many cricketers paid tribute to one of the greatest of all time.
Football and the world of sports has lost one of its greatest players today.
