Notably, Alli has failed to reach the levels he previously achieved with Tottenham Hotspurs. The 26-year-old joined the Turkish Super Lig side in August last year on an initial loan deal from Everton. Alli scored his first goal for the club during their 3-2 win over Ankaragucu back in September. But since then, his performance has gone downhill, which frustrated the team.

The club is reportedly desperate to send the midfielder back to Everton after the end of the season and is not considering the option to buy him this summer.

Dele has started in 15 league matches this season for Besiktas and scored just twice. He was also absent during the recent wins against Ankaragucu and Istanbul Basaksehir. The midfielder has made only two substitute appearances since October. In November, Güneş substituted him at half-time during a match against Umraniyespor, and then again against Sanliurfaspor in the Turkish Cup in December.
However, Alli was given another opportunity by Güneş in January and responded with a man-of-the-match performance in a 3-0 victory over Alanyaspor.
