The Portuguese star has finally got his visa clearance and is slated to reach the City of Joy on Sunday. Mohun Bagan who are currently in a rough patch would be dearly hoping for their 7th foreigner to join the camp soon.
Defense has been a place of bother for the Mariners. And with the team participating in the AFC Champions League Two, the Green and Maroon brigade roped in the veteran defender last week. But the 33-year old defender could play against Ravshan as he didn’t get his visa clearance.

As per the new norms laid down by ISL this season, any foreign player can be registered and deregistered any time during the season. Now this can work wonders for Mohun Bagan. With Rodriguez’s injury concerns, Nuno Reis can easily play in the ISL till the Spaniard recovers completely.
