It’s time again! Arch rivals Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal FC will face off in 2024’s first Kolkata Derby on January 19th at the Kalinga Stadium in Kalinga Super Cup. The AIFF on Wednesday announced the fixtures of the upcoming Super Cup, set to be held in Odisha.
The tournament begins on January 09 with East Bengal taking on fellow ISL club Hyderabad FC. Their rivals Mohun Bagan Super Giant take the field on the same day, against the I-League winners.

The final is set to be played on January 28.
The Kalinga Super Cup group stage draw was held on Monday, December 18 at the AIFF Football House in New Delhi. The tournament will feature 16 teams (12 from the Indian Super League and four from the I-League) divided into four groups of four teams each.
Kolkata giants East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant were drawn into Group A. It set up the stage for an exciting Kolkata derby. They were joined Hyderabad FC and I-League 1 in the group A.
Kerala Blasters FC, NorthEast United FC, and Jamshedpur FC found themselves in Group B with I-League 2 team.
Group C features the likes of Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC, Punjab FC and I-League 3. The final group, Group D, promises intense clashes with defending champions Odisha FC, former champions Bengaluru FC, FC Goa as well as the winner of the qualifying play-off, i.e., I-League 4.
