Bale played with Cristiano Ronaldo for almost 5 years at Real Madrid, before the latter left for Juventus in 2018. Both the star lifted 5 UCL trophies in their career. The Welsh star won all 5 with Real Madrid, whereas Cristiano won one of them with Manchester United and the rest at Real Madrid. Notably, Lionel Messi has only 4 UCL trophies, which is less than some of the Real Madrid players, Bale has shared a dressing room with.

Messi not only lacks in the trophies count, but the Argentinian also has fewer goals than Bale’s former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese, who is often called ‘Mr. Champions League’, has scored a record 140 goals in 183 games. Whereas, Messi has 129 goals in 163 games, with a better per-game goal ratio than Ronaldo. The fact that no other player has scored 100 goals other than these two, speaks for their dominance throughout the years.
