Cristiano Ronaldo EXUDES confidence in upcoming season ahead of PSG vs Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo placed his confidence in the Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr, for the upcoming season before of their matches against PSG and Inter Milan.

As Al-Nassr prepares to face PSG and Inter Milan in Japan, Cristiano Ronaldo discusses his lofty aspirations for the 2023-24 season. Last season, Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr colleagues came close to winning the Saudi Pro League but were beaten by Al Ittihad.

“We hope to win all the trophies. We know it’s going to be difficult but I think we have a good team, a new coach, new players, and we’re looking forward to doing an amazing season. Of course, I hope to win a few trophies this year.” said the Portuguese star.

Cristiano Ronaldo reaffirmed his belief in the Saudi Pro League after joining Al Nassr earlier in 2023. He envisions it as a potential top five league in the globe. Al Nassr will now put its skills on display as the Saudi club travels on a pre-season visit to Japan. They will face Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan in this round.

In addition to the league defeat, the Riyadh-based team was defeated in the quarterfinals of the Saudi King Cup. They also failed to qualify for the Super Cup. This resulted in Ronaldo having two trophy-less seasons following his second stint with Manchester United.

The pre-season trip against European powerhouses PSG and Inter Milan provides Al Nassr with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate its improvement and competitiveness against top-tier opponents.

“We are so happy to be here, Al-Nassr’s first time in Japan. We have two good games to play, and we are excited. Japanese people are very passionate about football and we’re here to give a good show.” said Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s arrival at Al Nassr has caused excitement among the league’s teams. The Saudi Pro League continues to sign prominent stars for Europe in order to grow the league.

Al-Nassr has responded by significantly expanding their team. They have signed Marcelo Brozovic, who was instrumental in helping Inter Milan reach the Champions League finals last season.
