Most International Goals Record – Ronaldo Breaks Most Goals Record: Cristiano Ronaldo has been eyeing Ali Daei’s record for some time and equalled it after a stellar Euro 2020 campaign, where he scored five times to finish as the top scorer. The Portuguese ace had the opportunity to break the record earlier in the game against Ireland, but his penalty was saved by Manchester City loanee Gavin Bazunu.

Nonetheless, Ronaldo kept pushing and was eventually rewarded as he equalised by leaping in trademark style to power a header in the 90th minute of the match. More stoppage-time drama followed as the Man United star carried his team, scoring a dramatic late winner to seal the three points. Ronaldo currently has 111 goals in just 180 appearances, while having led them to a European Championship and a Nations League win.
