Ten Hag and Ronaldo have held talks since the incident last week and the manager eventually decided to welcome Ronaldo back into the squad after those discussions. Ten Hag wanted to know if Ronaldo was committed to his project before welcoming the player back, but he has now received enough assurances to bring him back into the group for the first time. The United gaffer has also included Ronaldo in the Europa League Squad and the player will now be available for the game against Sherrif Tiraspol on Thursday.

Ronaldo has hardly got any playing time under Ten Haag this season. He has struggled on the pitch as well, scoring just one goal in eight Premier League appearances so far this season. Manchester United continues to thrive in his absence but now that he is back in the scheme of things, fans and Ten Haag will hope that the player gets back his lost touch.
