The controversy around Jadon Sancho seems to get spicier. Famous journalist Piers Morgan on Monday invited Sancho to a chat after the England international’s fall-out with Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag. He also promised to free him from ‘this Ten Hag nightmare’.
Morgan’s invitation to Sancho bears significance since Cristiano Ronaldo had previously been to Morgan’s talk show, hurling a series of accusations on Man Utd and Erik Ten Hag. The interview led to a series of events and accusations, culminating with CR7 leaving the club on a permanent basis.

Ten Hag was asked about Sancho’s absence from the matchday squad after their 3-1 loss to Arsenal. His reply was, “Based on performance on training we didn’t select him.
“You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United”.
Sancho chose to refute Ten Hag’s claim soon after, providing a lengthy statement. It said, “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff. And I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge”.
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”.
Piers Morgan, known for high-profile interviews, took this opportunity to invite Sancho to his talk-show on social media. He reposted Sancho’s statement on X (previously Twitter) and said, “Hi Jadon, come on @PiersUncensored and I’ll get you out of this Ten Hag nightmare.”
Should Sancho decide to follow the footsteps of CR7 and join Morgan’s talking table, the controversy would take a vicious turn and may end up being the final nail in Jadon Sancho’s Man Utd career, much like his idol Ronaldo.
