OFFICIAL STATEMENT: “We’re pleased to confirm that the FA Community Shield will be played at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Saturday 30 July 2022.
The 100th edition of the season’s traditional ‘curtain raiser’ will be hosted at the home of the 2021 winners as the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Final is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium connected by EE over the same weekend.
The 2021-22 Emirates FA Cup winners, Liverpool, will face the 2021-22 Premier League champions, Manchester City, at 5pm BST. Broadcast details and ticketing information will be announced in due course.”
