According to The Athletic, Chelsea’s sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley are in the final stages of appointing a new manager, with a decision expected in the next few days.

During his previous spell in England, Mauricio Pochettino led Tottenham to the final of the Champions League.
At Paris Saint-Germain, he won the Ligue 1 title while managing star players like Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
Pochettino is now set to take over as Chelsea’s new manager, inheriting a squad that has invested £600 million ($758m) on new players over the past two transfer windows but currently sits in 11th place in the Premier League table.
