Frank Lampard will continue as caretaker manager at the end of the season. The new manager will involve in the summer transfer window and start his job from the new season.
In 2022/23, Chelsea sacked two big managers Thomas Tuhel and Graham Potter. 2021 Champions League winner, Tuchel was sacked at the start of the season after the loss in the Champions League. Graham Potter took charge in September but he failed to replicate the same in the first few months. In April, the club decided to sack him when Chelsea were losing regularly. Lampard was recalled to handle the job as interim boos.
As per the reports of The Athletic, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly will finalise the name of the new manager this week. Former Tottenham manager Pochettino is the frontrunner to take the role. Only official confirmation is left from the club.

The report adds search for a new manager was carried out by sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart. Both have reached on their closing day with the name of Pochettino.
Chelsea already confirmed that Lampard will continue as the interim manager at the end of this season. The club finally ended their winless streak with a win over Bournemouth on Saturday. It was also the first win since the departure of Graham Potter.
Conor Gallagher, Benoit Badiashile, and Joao Felix scored the goals for Chelsea. Since the win over Leicester, it was the first quality performance from the Blues.
It has been added that Lampard will offer a collaboration with Winstanley and Stewart to ease Pochettino’s transition. Pochettino won the league title with PSG in his recent job but failed to win the Champions League. He had an amazing stint with Tottenham when he guided them to their maiden Champions League final in 2019.
Chelsea will now face struggling Nottingham Forest in Premier League. Lampard’s side would look to continue their winning momentum. They are still in the bottom half of the table.
