Neymar: No transfer window is complete without a Neymar transfer rumor. Every window, we see the same rumor of Neymar wanting to leave PSG but he always ends up staying with the Parisians. If reports are to be believed, then it seems that the Samba Boy has told the Parisians that he wants to leave the club and is envisioning his future elsewhere. Chelsea are one of the clubs who are surveying their options to bring Neymar to the Stamford Bridge.

According to sources, Neymar has informed PSG that he wants to leave the team this summer. The superstar has been connected to a number of Premier League teams. Neymar has requested that his management find him a new club in a conversation with them. He has spent the last six years in Paris and has five Ligue 1 championships to his credit.
However, L’Equipe claims that the forward is prepared to go on and that many Premier League clubs are keeping an eye on him. Neymar’s interest is shared by Chelsea, who apparently held off making an offer until he demanded to leave.
Blues want to sign Neymar
Neymar submitted a transfer request to PSG and is reportedly in talks to join Chelsea. According to RMC Sport, the Blues have been in communication with the Brazilian’s representatives about a transfer all summer.
It happens after Neymar allegedly told PSG that he wants to quit the team this summer. According to reports, Chelsea was hoping the Brazilian would submit a transfer request so they could move quickly to close a deal. And now, just days before Chelsea’s opening Premier League match against Liverpool, that scenario seems to have come to pass.
Neymar was rumored to desire to return to Barcelona, but RMC claims he would be open to a move to the Premier League. The West Londoners were linked with a move for Neymar in 2022 but decided against it, in the end. It is thought that PSG would be looking to make £59 million from a potential sale of the Brazilian international.
Neymar’s salary could be an issue
The French giants are thought to be willing to sell in order to offload Neymar’s £22 million annual contract. However, according to the French newspaper, the forward would demand that any new team pay every bit of his salary, which might stymie any move to England.
Manchester United was also said to be interested in Neymar, but Erik ten Hag is still looking for a holding midfielder, with Sofyan Amrabat being a target.
Neymar wants to return to Barcelona
The 31-year-old is thought to be aiming for a return to Barcelona, though. The two teams are said to have reached an agreement, but Neymar’s salary could be a sticking point.

The Samba sensation is said to make £600,000 each week, making even the super-rich French rulers want to get rid of him. The Blaugrana have financial issues of their own and it seems impossible that they would be able to match Neymar’s salary. A possible solution could be a loan agreement with PSG, where the salary is shared between both clubs.
