Drama ensues! Recently sacked AIFF Secretary General Shaji Prabhakaran has opened up on his termination. Prabhakaran was officially terminated by Kalyan Chaubey and Co. on Tuesday afternoon. The development has raised concerns about the country’s football administration’s stability. M Satyanarayan, AIFF Deputy Secretary, will take over as Acting Secretary General of AIFF immediately.
However, taking to Twitter soon after the decision, Prabhakaran himself claimed that the decision came as a shock to him. He also insisted that reason cited was a major allegation.
“AIFF’s decision to terminate me comes as a shock. We were working as a team. Charging me for ‘breach of trust’ is a massive allegation.” Shaji Prabhakaran.
