Tottenham lose ground after lacklustre finishing allows Burnley to pick up three big points. Despite Spurs taking control of the game early on it was Burnley who had the first few efforts of the match calling goalkeeper Hugo Lloris into action.
Over time the visitors continued to dominate possession but the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son struggled to find their scoring touch. Things remained 0-0 at the break with only one shot on target between the two sides coming at the hands of the hosts.
