Both Danilo and Neymar suffered ankle injuries in Brazil’s opening 2-0 win over Serbia, which ruled them out of their 1-0 win over Switzerland and the shock loss to Cameroon.

Alex Sandro suffered a hip injury in the game against the Swiss, while Alex Telles and Gabriel Jesus were ruled out of WC after Friday’s game, where Tite fielded a second-string Brazil side.

The Brazilians were nevertheless able to finish first in Group G despite losing to the Indomitable Lions, and they will now face South Korea in the Round of 16 on Monday.

A video of Neymar working on Saturday and appearing healthy enough to make a comeback against the South Koreans has given Tite a huge boost.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar took some precise shots with both legs in front of the camera.

The 30-year-old also scored a sneaky goal by nutmegging Weverton, the backup goalkeeper.

Neymar was in a great mood as he quickly celebrated his impressive display of brilliance.

The Brazilian grinned broadly and pointed at the camera, implying that he will be in fighting shape for the knockout rounds.

Neymar’s return is a piece of great news for Tite after both Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles were ruled out of the rest of the tournament with knee injuries.
