Dhaka’s leg has been full of action on and off the field, Fortune Barishal skipper Shakib Al Hasan was in the spotlight after his verbal argument with umpires on the field. In another instance, the senior all-rounder charged at the umpire from the outer field after his opening batsman was not allowed to take the first strike.
The highest wicket-taker in BPL Shakib was later charged 15% of his match fees during Tuesday’s BPL clash between Fortune Barishal and Rangpur Riders in Dhaka for arguing with the umpire.

After eight matches in Sher e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Sylhet Strikers is at the top of the table in BPL 2022-23 with four wins in a row. Defending champions Comilla Victorians is at the bottom of the table with back-to-back two losses out of two games they played. Strikers’ Towhid Hridoy is the highest run-getter after the first leg with 195 runs. Dhaka Dominators’ Al-Amin Hossain is the pick of the bowler with seven wickets in two matches.
