Borussia Dortmund ready to overpower PSG to reach UCL finals after a decade

Borussia Dortmund vs PSG: Borussia Dortmund ready to overpower Paris Saint Germain to reach UCL finals after 10 years

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) faces a massive task while facing Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League. The Parisians side will take on the Bundesliga side with a 1-0 deficit at the Parc des Princes. In the previous league, it was Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug scored the only game of the game to give the Yellow Wall a much needed advantage.

All eyes will be on Kylian Mbappe who will be keen to win the Champions League before likely to move to another club this summer. Though PSG are favourites to turn the tide at home, but Dortmund have been a force to reckon with. But Borussia will be ready to reach the finals after having last appeared in 2013, a decade ago.

The German side came back from the jaws of death in the quarter finals. After being 2-1 down to Atletico Madrid away from home, they turned the tied at the Signal Iduna Park. Borussia Dortmund won 4-2 to progress to the semi finals with a goal aggregate of 5-4 in the tie.

“We showed a good game last week, which gave us that little lead. But that performance probably won’t be enough to get us into the final,” Terzic told reporters ahead of Tuesday’s match.

“They have a mission, we have a huge dream… there are enough things we have to do better, because they will do better. Part of the success was bringing that intensity onto the pitch. If we need to, we’ll run another 20 kilometres,” Terzic concluded
