Bayern Munich set to load off Sadio Mane for £17 million along with SIX others

In order to finance the potential signing of Tottenham superstar Harry Kane, Bayern Munich is prepared to sell Sadio Mane during the upcoming summer transfer window for a fee of £17 million

Bayern Munich is willing to sell Sadio Mane for £17 million during the upcoming summer transfer window. This decision is part of their efforts to raise funds for the potential acquisition of Tottenham superstar Harry Kane. Mane had a challenging debut season in Bavaria after his £35 million transfer from Liverpool last summer. He is one of seven Bayern players who could be sold.

Bayern Munich, the reigning Bundesliga champions, initially aimed to secure Harry Kane’s services for approximately £70 million this week. They saw an opportunity as Tottenham could potentially lose their star player for free next summer when his contract ends. However, Tottenham is expected to reject Bayern’s second offer and has set a hefty asking price of £120 million for the England captain.

To avoid getting into a bidding war with other clubs at the end of next season, Bayern is still determined to acquire Kane promptly. As a result, they have reportedly decided to hold a summer fire sale, hoping to raise funds and strengthen their transfer budget.

Bayern aims to generate £17 million from the sale of Mane, who is the key player on the list of seven potential departures. They also hope to raise £12 million from Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

Up to £34 million from Benjamin Pavard, who is attracting interest from Barcelona. The highest-priced player on Thomas Tuchel’s transfer wishlist is the 21-year-old Dutch talent Ryan Gravenberch, who is expected to bring in as much as £42 million. Meanwhile, Bouna Sarr, Alexander Nubel and Yann Sommer are all expected to depart for fees worth less than £8.5m.
