Bukayo Saka became an important part of the Gunners’ success last term. He’s delivering this season as well. He has already been involved in 14 goals in the 17 matches he’s featured in so far for Arsenal. In their most recent Premier League match against Burnley, Saka equalled a record with former Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane by providing an assist for teammate Leandro Trossard.

He became the only second player to have been involved in goals against all Premier League teams they have ever faced.
Arsenal have been in the race to win the Premier League since last season and some of their players have heavily influenced that. One of them is the 22-year-old youngster Bukayo Saka. The English team winger’s performance has elevated majorly in recent times.
Even though they couldn’t win, Arsenal still spent 248 days at the top of the table last season. Saka appeared in 48 matches for them where he scored 15 times and provided 11 assists. He has already bettered himself this season.
He has featured in 17 games for Arsenal this term throughout all competitions. He’s scored 6 times and assisted 8 times in all competitions so far. 4 of those goals and 4 of those assists came in the Premier League.
His most recent assist came in the Gunners’ most recent Premier League match against Burnley last weekend. Arsenal won the match by a 3-1 margin. The first goal came from Leandro Trossard who headed home the ball that was passed to him by Saka.
As Saka provided the assist, he equalled a record with Harry Kane. He became the only second player to have a 100% record against they have ever faced. Saka faced Burnley 5 times before this, but on his 6th time, he managed to contribute to a goal against them.
With that, he has now either scored or assisted against all of the 24 Premier League teams he has ever faced. The only other player to hold the record is Harry Kane who has done it with 32 teams.
Kane moved to Bayern Munich this summer. Before that, he played for Tottenham Hotspur. He joined Spurs back in 2009 and went on to become one of England’s most prolific strikers. In that time, he faced a total of 32 Premier League teams.
He scored against every one of those teams and provided assists against 20 of them. He still holds the record of 213 goals in the Premier League which is the second-highest in the history of the competition. Even if he comes back to Premier League in a few years, he might not be in his best form.
The 22-year-old Arsenal star is shining for the Gunners in recent times and he could go on to break more records like these in near future. Saka who made his debut for Arsenal back in the 2028-19 season, took some time to flourish.
His first assist came in a 1-1 draw against Manchester United in September, 2019. Ten months later, he scored his first goal for them when they defeated Wolves by a 2-0 margin. Saka’s assist in their recent match helped them climb to 2nd place in the Premier League table.
