Ansu Fati Transfer: Ansu Fati was predicted for greatness when he had an amazing debut campaign in 2019-20. However, since then the player has suffered a series of injuries that left him benched for the most part. He hardly made the starting XI lined up by Xavi and last season, his future at Barcelona became a doubt. However, Barcelona still believe that he can achieve greatness. It seems, so do several other clubs including Arsenal. However, La Blaugrana have made it clear to the Gunners that Fati is not for sale.

Since his debut for Barcelona’s first team, Ansu Fati has been a topic of discussion. In the beginning, it was his incredible performances which showed that he was destined for greatness. However, he started suffering from a series of injuries that halted his growth. He started getting injuries in the match when he came back from a previous injury. As a result, his performance dropped as he needed to recover from his injuries. He also was not getting enough playing time for the first team.

In the last season, his lack of playing time ignited doubts about Fati’s future at Barcelona. However, the player wanted to stay at any cost and it seems La Blaugrana still believe in him as well. Arsenal are the most recent club in line with teams that showed interest in him. Other than the Gunners, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and PSG were also interested in the forward. However, PSG shifted their attention to somewhere else. Whereas, Fati was angered about the factor that Barcelona even entertained Wolves.

Yet, as per reports, Fati found the Gunners’ interest “very tempting”. Jorge Mendes, who is also the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo’s former agent, coined the young forward a potential Ballon d’Or winner. Mendes considers Fati as one of his clients as during an interview with Jijantes FC, he said, “Ansu wants to stay. He has scored three goals in his last games. He is one of the best young players in the world. One day he will win the Ballon d’Or.”

Even though the Premier League giants Arsenal’s interest was tempting to the youngster, it’s clear that he wants to stay at Barcelona. It looks like the young forward is improving from his performance in Barcelona’s last few friendlies. Fati came from the bench in all four friendlies and played a total of 133 minutes. He scored 2 goals in those 4 matches. However, Even though Barcelona want him to stay, Fati needs to do his best in every match to get in coach Xavi’s good books.

Talking about Fati’s playing time, coach Xavi said, “He has to have continuity in training as well as in matches, and from there we will decide. I can’t guarantee it to anyone. I mean, I can’t promise. When I go to sign a footballer I can’t say that, that you’re going to play forever. I tell them that you are going to compete, you are going to compete with this guy, with this guy and with this guy. This is Barcelona. This is not a charity.”
