Pirlo accepted the managerial role at Fatih Karagümrük in June 2022. The Italian struggled to produce good results until the Qatar World Cup, after which he led the club to a decent run. However, the last few months have gone from bad to worst. The team lost 3 games in the last 4 played and has won only one in the last 5 games. As a result, the board of the club decided to relieve Pirlo from his managerial duties.
The World Cup winner and legendary footballer is well known for his calmness and techniques with the ball in his heydays. However, he has struggled since taking a managerial route. Earlier, he managed his former club Juventus, where he was sacked just after one season after failing to win the league. Even if he won the Super Coppa Italiana and Coppa Italiana with Juventus, he was sacked just after 52 games.
The number of games managed even dipped down at the Turkish club, where he is now sacked just after managing them for 34 games. Fatih Karagümrük won just 13 games under Pirlo, with a win rate of 36.11 and 1.29 points per game.
Pirlo’s numbers at his last club might not make him a favorite for big clubs, however, he had a decent run at Juventus. He won 34 games with Juventus out of 52 with a win percentage of 65.38. Multiple clubs in Premier League are without a manager, and Pirlo might have a chance there. Tottenham, who are searching for a manager for more than a month might be interested in the Italian as they don’t have many options left.

Pirlo might also lead a Championship side to prove his managerial skills. Clubs like Leicester City, Southampton, and Leeds United are battling relegation this season, who will be searching for a new manager after this season.
