Manchester United Transfers: ERIK TEN HAG ready to battle ARSENAL as Red Devils look to grab opportunity to sign DECLAN…

The Ivorian joined United from Atalanta in 2021 for almost £37 million, and he has since featured nine times for the club. Last year, he was also sent on loan to Rangers. His recent performances have inspired the team, and they are now prepared to reintegrate him into the group before the start of the preseason.

The first-ever final between the two Manchester teams will take place in England’s oldest domestic cup tournament, and United have already planned their guest list for the Wembley occasion. Amad will be invited to the final on June 3 as part of the Red Devils’ efforts to integrate the 20-year-old over the upcoming season, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Ivorian has had a spectacular season in the Championship since being loaned out to Sunderland at the beginning of the campaign. In 37 league games, he has scored an astounding 13 goals and contributed three assists. The Black Cats’ performance against Preston on the final day of the regular season on Monday, perhaps the best of the lot, allowed them to clinch the final play-off spot.

The Manchester Evening News writes that the winger is part of Erik ten Hag’s plans for the upcoming season, despite Amad’s hints to a potential return to Sunderland or rumours of another loan-spell generally. He may even have a suit saved in his measurements for the FA Cup final, which takes place one week after the Championship play-off final.

Sunderland must defeat Luton Town in a two-leg semi-final, the first of which takes place at home on Saturday, for them to advance to that level. In addition, Diallo’s outstanding play has earned him a nomination for the Championship’s young player of the year award. Tony Mowbray, the manager of Sunderland, has cautioned United not to let the young star to be seduced away.
