This summer transfer window goes to Saudi clubs and Al Nassr were also not behind in the race to change the fortunes in 2023/24. They overcame the quarterfinal hurdle with a 3-1 win over Raja CA. Ronaldo started the scoring and Al Nassr scored three goals till the 38th minute. The first-half brilliance was enough to secure the place in the top four.

Al Nassr have ticked all good points since July. They had a positive pre-season despite poor defeats in early games. They remained undefeated in the domestic cup and conceded only three goals in four games. Ronaldo is also back to form and new signings will push to add glories for the club. Sadio Mane’s arrival made Al Naasr stronger in the attack.

On the other hand, Al Shorta should be proud of their campaign but their semifinal task is heavy. Booking a ticket to the final on Saturday will require an extra-ordinary display.

They beat Al Sadd 4-2 in quarter-final, despite having a lower possession and pass accuracy. Al Shorta won just two games in this competition and also faced a defeat in group stage. It won’t be an easy game for them as they are the only non-Saudi club in the top four.
