Al Nassr decided to field a starting line-up sans superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as they looked for a solid start to the Kings Cup title challenge.

The Al Nassr coach decided to name Sadio Mane and Talisca in the first XI and the decision instantly bore fruit. Sadio Mane sent the Ohod goalkeeper the wrong way as when he converted from the spot after winning the penalty. Ohod midfielder Konrad Michalak brought Ohod back into the game right at the brink of half time when he received a long ball and lobbed it over the incoming Al Nassr goalkeeper.

Al Nassr dominated the play in the second half and Seko Fofana struck with his right foot from the edge of the box to regain Al Nassr’s lead. Thereafter, goals came fast.

An unmarked Talisca found Al Nassr’s cushion goal with a header as Ohod looked completely lost. The visitors celebrated the goal with fervour, before going on to score another two.

Ayman Yahya added his name to the scoresheet and so did substitute Sami Al-Najei before the referee blew the final whistle.

Al Nassr changed their gears since back-to-back losses in the Saudi Pro League. The playoff fixture in AFC Champions League set the momentum and it continued even after 7 matches. They have been brutal and the best part is they increased their goal-scoring ability. Al Nassr has scored the most number of goals in the last one month as they are averaging three goals per match.
