Al Nassr on Saturday notched up yet another comprehensive win against Al Feiha at the Saudi Pro League. A second half brace from Anderson Talisca and a goal from Otavio sealed the tie 3-1 in favour of the Cristiano Ronaldo-led side.
Al Nassr extended their unbeaten run to 9 matches in the Pro League with the win. They have now been unbeaten for three months now, having last lost a game in any competition in mid-August.
Talisca and co. started the game slowly, taking their time to grow into the game. Al Feiha built some attacks of their own, with Ghislain Konan of Al-Fayha’s left footed shot in the 11th minute from a difficult angle on the left posing some problems for Al Nassr goalkeeper. The first half ended 0-0 with both sides unable to capitalise on the chance.
Al Nassr sparked to life as soon as the second half began with striker Anderson Talisca scoring the opener in the 50th minute through the assist of Cristiano Ronaldo. The striker’s left footed shot from outside the box beat the Al Feiha goalkeeper andf crawled into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Talisca doubled Al Nassr’s lead barely 10 minutes later when a perfect cross Alex Telles was nodded in by the Brazilian from the centre of the goal.
Al Feiha pulled one back through Al Shuwaish to provide supporters with glimmer of hope, but Otavio added a third for the Riyadh-based side to dash all hopes of Al Feiha. Otávio launched a vicious right-footed shot from outside the box to the top left corner The Al Feiha goalkeeper dived full length but could not reach the ball as it curled into the top corner.
