AFC Cup playoffs Bengaluru FC vs Club Eagles: Match Preview, Date, Venue, Live Streaming details-  Indian Super League outfit Bengaluru FC is set to take on Club Eagles in their AFC Cup playoff clash. The fixture is scheduled to be played at the National Stadium in the Maldives with the kickoff at 8:20 PM IST. The Blues’ will be eager to record a win against the Maldivian side and qualify for the upcoming stages of the tournament.

Bengaluru FC will play feature under new head coach Marco Pezzaiuoli in their AFC Cup match on Sunday. Sunil Chettri and Co will be eager to grab onto the final spot in Group D when they lock horns against Club Eagles on August 15.

Earlier scheduled to be played on May 11, the play-off tie was postponed amid the increasing Covid-19 cases in the Maldives. Bengaluru FC heads into the match after recording a massive 5-0 win over Nepal’s Tribhuvan Army FC in their previous encounter.

The Indian club will look to replicate their performances but will face tough competition on Sunday. They will have to play some of their best football if they wish to pocket a win at the National Football Stadium.

Sunil Chhetri will likely lead the line and captain the Indian club against their Maldivian opponents on August 15. Bengaluru FC will start the match with nearly six new additions to the team. Rohit Kumar, Harmanpreet Singh, Bidyashagar Singh, Jayesh Rane, Danish Farooq, and Sarthak Golui are the six new Indian players that could feature for the Indian football club.

A win for Bengaluru FC will see them occupy the final available slot into Group D of the AFC Cup. They will join fellow Indian Super League outfit ATK Mohun Bagan alongside Bashundhara Kings from Bangladesh with Maziya S&RC also in the mix. All 4 clubs are expected to battle each other for a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.
