The Indian football team will commence their AFC Asian Cup 2023 campaign by facing Australia in the opening match at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar, on January 13. Under the leadership of the talismanic captain Sunil Chhetri, the Indian football team finds itself in Group B, competing alongside Australia, Uzbekistan, and Syria. AFC Asian Cup Live Streaming in India will be available on JioCinema while Sports18 will telecast it.

Following their match against Australia in the campaign opener, the Blue Tigers are set to encounter Uzbekistan at the same venue on January 18. Guided by head coach Igor Stimac, the Indian team will then compete against Syria in their third and final group match at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor on January 23.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has unveiled a 26-member squad for the AFC Asian Cup 2023. Led by Sunil Chhetri, the team features several familiar names, including goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, defender Sandesh Jhingan, midfielder Anirudh Thapa, and forward Lallianzuala Chhangte.

Notably, Brandon Fernandes and Sahal Abdul Samad, who were initially uncertain, have also made the cut. Unfortunately, India will be without the services of Anwar Ali, Jeakson Singh Thounaojam, Ashique Kuruniyan, and Rohit Kumar, all sidelined due to injuries.
