Kevin De Bruyne
Worldclass midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is currently in a precarious situation. He has been a loyal servant to the club and has been one of the most deadly midfielders in modern day football. But the Belgian’s contract is slated to expire in the summer of 2025. And currently the club is far away from negotiating a new contract with him.
And starting from 1st January, the player is free to discuss pre contract with other Euorpean clubs and then can move out on a free in summer. So far in this season his form has dropped a lot. And that is reflected in the Premier League where he played 13 matches and has managed to score twice and assist three times.

Ilkay Gundogan
Former captain Ilkay Gundogan’s situation is also in trouble. 2 years back be moved to Barcelona on a free transfer. And after spending a season with the Catalan giants, he made a comeback to the Cityzens last summer. This season the German has featured in 18 games for the club as Rodri remains absent with a ACL injury.
The 34-year-old German midfield marshal’s contract runs out in summer as he signed just a 1 year contract with the defending champions. And with the club planning a revamp it remains to be seen if his contract will be extended. And this means Gundogan can move out of the club in the January Transfer window.
Ederson
Brazilian midfielder Ederson has been linked with a move away from Premier League for quite sometime. The Brazilian has drawn interest both from Serie A and the Saudi Pro League. The 31-year old has featured in 13 Premier League games for his club.
But as the club continues to struggle, and attractive offers on the way, Manchester City will be tempted to part with their star keeper.
