Roma’s boss earlier dodged the suspension but was fined €10,000 for his deeds. However, recently, FIGC confirmed that Mourinho will be suspended for the next two games. The club launched an appeal against the decision but in vain. After that, Roma have now imposed a media blackout for the next two games. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the club is feeling what is “unjust nature” of the punishment, as they never even appealed for the sanctions.

As a result of this, the 60-year-old manager will be unavailable for the game against Sassuolo and Lazio on March 12 and March 19 respectively. Notably, after the game against Cremonese, Roma played against Juventus, for which Jose was not suspended. It seems like FIGC took their time to come to the decision and after 10 days, they decided to suspend the Roma boss.
