Phil Foden Injury: How many games could he miss?
Just before the start of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier match against Ukraine, an England statement was released stating that Phil Foden would not be able to play due to undergoing an appendix removal surgery that morning.
Gareth Southgate, the England manager, chose not to call up a replacement for Foden, leaving him with only 20 players to choose from. Unfortunately, it has been a week to forget for the winger, as he was taken off just 12 minutes into the Italy game and was also substituted for Reece James after Luke Shaw’s red card.
