The reason behind the extension is said to be that he prefers the Capital City, Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea and he picks signing a new contract with the Blues over negotiating with other teams.
Kante has helped Chelsea win the Champions League and Premier League. And now when the team is struggling to gain their form back, he might play an important role under new manager Graham Potter.
Recently, Kante played 60 minutes of football behind closed doors during the international break and he might return for the Blues’ first team very soon.
