As per The Athletic, the Man United goalkeeper has turned down the first extension offer but will continue to negotiate in the hope of reaching a positive conclusion.

The Spaniard earns a weekly salary of more than £375,000, which makes him the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world. He is 32 years old and with this age, he might be failed in negotiation. He should settle for a lower pay package.
