Eriksen has been a major miss in the squad, as Red Devils went into the January transfer market to sign his replacement in the form of Bayern Munich outcast Marcel Sabitzer on the deadline day, however, the Austrian isn’t a similar player to that Eriksen. With that being said, the manager gave a positive update on Eriksen’s return as the team missed the Denmark international’s service in the middle of the park during the whole period. However, with crucial ties coming at the busy end of the season, Eriksen’s return is a huge boost for the Red Devils who are eyeing major silverware after grabbing the first trophy of the season in the form of the Carabao Cup.
Speaking ahead of the Fulham tie, the Man United manager revealed Eriksen’s return, ‘Yes, some point in April he will be back.’
‘He is doing really well, really good in his rehab. The progress is very good and we have to see how that develops in the coming weeks.’
