The Independent reports the 52-year-old is now on his way to London to continue negotiations with the club. He had earlier managed Spain’s national team. Chelsea owners are impressed after having the first meeting with the former Spain manager.

Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino are also in the plan. We might see a surprise later in the month. However, the chances of seeing Luis Enrique at Stamford Bridge look like a possibility.
The 52-year-old is also working on his English and he has the ability to work with youngsters. He focuses more on attacking football and high intensity during the game.
Chelsea are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and will face Real Madrid in the last-8. Enrique has experience in the Champions League and won the title with Barcelona in 2014-15.
Luis Enrique worked with the Spanish football team till the 2022 World Cup and he is now a free agent. He shared his thoughts last month regarding his interest in English football.
