Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City in 2017 after winning the Ligue 1 trophy with Monaco. He has been an essential player for City, and has won 11 trophies at the club. However, with limited play time and starts, Silva has now decided to look for a new challenge, and clubs like Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain are interested in signing him. But in order to sign the 28-year-old, Barcelona or PSG will have to pay around £75m as his contract expires in 2025, as per 90min.
After knowing the asking price, Barcelona might be least interested in signing the Portuguese as they are already struggling with their finances. The new contract of Gavi and Ronald Araujo is yet to be accepted by La Liga, and on top of that their priority is to crack a deal for Lionel Messi.
