Manchester United won 4-1 against Real Betis in the Europa League round of 16 first leg. They have a good chance of progressing to the quarter-finals this season with the 3-goal lead over Real Betis and the brilliant form they have been in under their boss, Erik Ten Hag. Additionally, even though they will be missing Antony and Alejandro Garnacho, there’s a possibility that Anthony Martial, Marcel Sabitzer, and Victor Lindelof will be able to play 90 minutes if the coach chooses to play them.

Alejandro Garnacho was seen in crutches and as per reports, his ankle issues will see him out for the rest of the season. Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek also remain unavailable. While even though Anthony Martial, Marcel Sabitzer, and Victor Lindelof have started training, their inclusion in the team is still a doubt.

Even though the odds are with Manchester United, they still have been having a tumultuous period in the last few games. Just before their win against Real Betis in the first leg, they lost 7-0 to Liverpool in the Premier League. Their next league game came 3 days ago against Southampton which finished in a goalless draw. This match also saw Casemiro get a red card owing to a bad foul on Carlos Alcaraz.

This has been his 2nd red card in the span of only three Premier League matches. As a result, he will miss a total of 4 matches under the English FA, which means he will miss 3 Premier League matches and 1 FA Cup match against Fulham on 19th March. The good news for Man United is that he will be available for their Europa League match. However, both Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes are at risk of a Europa League suspension if they are booked even once.
