In what has been labelled a “high risk” game, more than 2,500 Three Lions supporters are anticipated at the Diego Maradona stadium, with the away section reportedly “sold out.” On the day of the game, alcohol consumption is prohibited surrounding the stadium beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing until midnight; however, drinking is prohibited in the city centre beginning at noon.
Police are patrolling possible hot spots in the historic city centre, the train station, and the port area, which has been set up as a gathering place for England supporters, with additional troops being brought in. Since Italy hasn’t played a match in Naples in ten years, there are concerns that the club’s notorious Ultras will enjoy a brawl with England supporters.

A message on the English FA website also advises fans not to wear belts, as police will remove them if they are deemed to be potential weapons. Phone chargers and power banks will also be prohibited from entering the stadium and may be confiscated and not returned to fans.
20 local buses have been reserved to transport spectators from Naples’ port area to the stadium, which is about four miles away, starting at 4 p.m. on match days, though police say they also anticipate fans to take public transportation. With the understanding that they may stay there until midnight, England fans will be kept in the stadium until local fans have left.
Italy will be focused on developing a strong team before their next major competition because they did not make the 2022 World Cup roster. The Azzurri lost their previous match versus Austria by a score of 2-0, thus they will need to win this week.
On the other hand, although having a respectable international record, England has fallen short when playing formidable opponents. The visiting team has plenty to prove in this match after suffering a 2-1 loss to France in the World Cup last year.
