India Football Friendlies: India Tri-Nation Friendly Fixtures: The forthcoming international break in March will include two friendlies for the Indian national football team. The Igor Stimac-led squad will compete event during the break, which will be the first since the World Cup 2022. Three countries—India, Myanmar, and the Kyrgyz Republic will take part in the six-day football competition. The games are a part of Sunil Chhetri and co’s preparation ahead of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup to commence next year. The fixtures for the games have been released. Fixtures for the Tri-Nation Football tournament
- India VS Myanmar – 22nd March (6 pm IST)
- Myanmar VS Kyrgyz Republic – 25th March (6 pm IST)
- India VS Kyrgyz Republic – 28th March (6 pm IST)
The tri-nation competition will be placed in Imphal, Manipur. The Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal will host the games. According to the FIFA rankings, India is presently ranked 106th. If the Blue Tigers perform well in the forthcoming tri-nation tournament, they will have the opportunity to change that. On gamedays, Star Sports Network will have live coverage of every India match. The Disney+ Hotstar app and website offer live streaming of the games as well.

Igor Stimac announced a provisional 23-man squad for the Blue Tigers’ camp that begins in Kolkata on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.Team India will train in Kolkata in a five-day camp, before travelling to Imphal. Out of the 23 called-up for the squad, 14 will report to the camp on Wednesday, with the other nine (players from Bengaluru FC and ATK Mohun Bagan FC) joining on Match 19, one day after the ISL 2022-23 final.
Eleven players have also been named as the reserves and will be called up for the camp only if the necessity arises. The final list of 23 players for the Tri-Nation International Football Tournament will be announced after the completion of the ISL final.
Provisional squad:
- Goalkeepers: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Phurba Lachenpa Tempa, Amrinder Singh.
- Defenders: Sandesh Jhingan, Roshan Singh, Anwar Ali, Akash Mishra, Chinglensana Konsham, Rahul Bheke, Mehtab Singh, Glan Martins.
- Midfiedlers: Suresh Wangjam, Rohit Kumar, Anirudh Thapa, Brandon Fernandes, Yasir Mohammad, Ritwik Das, Jeakson Singh, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Bipin Singh.
- Forwards: Manvir Singh, Sunil Chhetri, Sivasakthi Narayanan.
